Kayla Studio set-up
Nothing like a clean/organized and well set-up studio to keep the creative juices flowing! Kayla has many metal wire racks and shelves to hold the "Treasured Bits" of hand-dyed and other special remnants from nearly 40 years of creating one-of-a-kind clothing, all within view, but organized and beautiful.
Piles of colorful ribbons, hundreds of small square pieces of tulle, and sewing machines were ready Tuesday afternoons for ages 2 to 12 for design and sew lessons. As you can see, many happy little kids got a taste of the joy of designing and the overview and hands-on techniques of the sewing machine.
